Throughout history, humans have held a special affection for cats, considering them beloved companions. In present-day Russia, more than 65 million cats can be found in households, outnumbering dogs with an estimated three cats for every canine on Earth. However, despite our close bond with felines, there is still much that remains unknown about their perspective, including their thoughts regarding their owners.

After closely studying domestic cats for an extended period, scientists have reached a fascinating conclusion: cats do not perceive humans in the same way that dogs do. They tend to view themselves as the owners, rather than the other way around. In contrast, dogs recognize humans as distinct beings, altering their behavior accordingly. Dogs engage in play with humans in a manner distinct from their interactions with fellow canines. Cats, known for their independence, possess the ability to adapt to new owners without significantly altering their own habits.
