Imagine that you are preparing a project with your friend. You have found some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, then be ready to read it out aloud. You will not have more than 1.5 minutes to read it.

Family is at the heart of Indian society, where the concept of extended families prevails. It is common for multiple generations or siblings to reside together in a shared household. In rural areas, neighboring houses often share a wall, creating a seamless row of dwellings adorned with doorways. Alternatively, in southern regions, houses feature a street-facing veranda, leading to an open courtyard behind. As prosperity grows, families may upgrade their homes with tiled roofs and other improvements. 

The hub of domestic life unfolds in the compound courtyard or on the verandas. In rare instances, individuals inhabit their farmland, but typically villages emerge as distinct settlements encompassed by vast fields. Farms are often divided into separate plots. Within a larger village, one can expect to find a primary school along with a handful of small shops catering to local needs.
