During my youth, I spent countless summers embracing freedom and adventure at my cousin's home on the enchanting west coast of Ireland. In that carefree atmosphere, time was irrelevant, and I never felt the need to 30                          at my watch. Our days were filled with spirited games of football, hurling, and soccer, continuing 31                          darkness cast its cloak upon us. One particular evening remains etched in my memory, vivid as if it occurred yesterday. Lost in my thoughts, I sat in Uncle Jerrold's ancient boat, gazing up at the waning beauty of the late summer sky. It was then that I abruptly 34                          it was merely nine o'clock, yet the light was already fading. In that moment, I knew our idyllic days were drawing to a close, and soon I would find myself donning a grey school uniform, confined to a grey classroom, yearning for the outside world and its wondrous escapades.

As a ten-year-old girl, I experienced a sense of loss, bidding farewell to a summer that had run its course.
