The connection between white hair and stress

Researchers from Harvard conducted tests on animals to investigate the impact of stress. They focused on                          (MOUSE) and discovered that stress can cause their hair to turn grey. In the experiment, the scientists injected the mice with a substance extracted from chili peppers, which resulted in their hair rapidly turning white.

The notion that stress can lead to grey hair                          (BE) a long-standing belief among people.
