New Zealand, a remarkable country, encompasses a duo of primary islands along with numerous smaller ones scattered across vast distances, spanning from the tropics to the Antarctic. New Zealand                          (LOCATE) approximately 2,012 km southeast of Australia, captivating tourists’ attention with its geography. 

The two principal islands are none other than the esteemed North Island and the majestic South Island,                          (SEPARATE) by the renowned Cook Strait. Stretching across a length of 829 km, the North Island showcases its volcanic nature in the region of its south-central area. On the other hand, the South Island boasts the awe-inspiring Southern Alps, gracing its western coastline, with the iconic Mount Cook proudly standing as its loftiest peak.
