Kate found herself in a state of confusion. Her parents were 30                           that she had a genuine talent, but she questioned their judgment – after all, they were her only parents. It didn't help that her father was a music teacher and her mother an accountant, both 31                           their limited knowledge of art but trusting their personal preferences. Nonetheless, they appeared willing to support her for another year. Yet, Kate keenly understood that, 32                           her parents' relative financial comfort, another year without generating income would burden them. After much introspection, she bravely expressed her thoughts, saying, "Only one more year. If the paintings aren't up to par or fail to attract any exhibition interest, I will be realistic and actively look 33                           a proper job."

For the following six months, Kate toiled tirelessly, dedicating herself to work hours she hadn't realized existed during her student days. Throughout this period, she produced a dozen canvases. Fearful that her parents and friends might withhold honest feedback, she kept them hidden from view. Her determination was unwavering – to complete her portfolio and then exclusively seek the toughest 34                           possible, from professional gallery owners and, even more stringent, from the prospective buyers.

As the eleventh month approached, Kate had successfully 35                           twenty-seven works. Nevertheless, she remained uncertain about whether they truly exhibited genuine talent. She felt the time had arrived to allow others to pass 36                           on her creations.
